Victoria School Choir

As Christmas and a New Year draws near, there will not be any choir practices for the remaining of the year 2006. I hope that you guys have enjoyed this year in the choir. The next choir practice will be held (tentatively) on Thursday, 4 January 2007 at 2.15pm. SLs will be calling you when school reopens to recomfirm and let you know when the next practice will be held. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

The next practice will be held on Saturday, 16 December. There will be PT, so be outside the PE Dept Office at 7.15am.

I hope that all of you have enjoyed your stay at Watercity Resort, Malacca. I am sure that the workshops and performances held have helped you in one way or another. There will not be practice for the next few days as we have been working hard for this trip and deserve a break for a while. SLs will be calling you to let you know when the next practice will be held. In the meantime, do take good care of yourself and let your voices rest.

There will be choir practice held on Saturday, 2 December. Be in the music room by 9.30am. Practice should end at around 12.30pm if everything goes smoothly. On Monday, 4 December, we will be meeting at the foyer at 7am. Please remember to follow the guidelines as on the two itinerary lists provided by Ms Lau and the travel agent. Where possible, make a copy of the itinerary lists for your parents' reference. Do take care of your health during this period of time and drink plenty of water. There will be practice held on Thursday, 30 November. Be in the music room at 8am. There is also a performance by VJ Choir on Friday. 1 December at 7.30pm. If you are interested to purchase tickets for the concert, please let your SLs know. This performance is not compulsory.

There will be choir practice on Tuesday, 28 November. Be in the music room by 8am. Remember to bring along the penguin suit and christmas 'suit' for checking.

There will be practice held on Monday, 27 November. Be in the music room at 8am. As an advanced reminder, please ensure that you bring your full penguin suit(except the vests which you have already submitted) and the chrismas suit(windbreaker, green short sleeve t-shirt, jeans) for practice on Tuesday, 28 November.

The next choir practice will be held on Saturday, 25 November. Be in the music room by 8am. There will also be a combine practice session with AJC Choir in the late morning at Siglap South CC. The next choir practice will be held on Saturday, 18 November. Be in the music room by 8.00am. You are reminded to memorise BOTH Credo and Noyosa, which are already due. Also, revise your parts on Gaude Maria and Gesù Bambino. We will be having a practice combined session with AJC Choir on Saturday.

Hey choir, Do take these few weeks to really study hard for your exams. They are just around 4 to 5 weeks away. After the exams, be prepared to stay back for intensive choir practices. Furthermore, please refrain from going overseas for holiday until the last 2 weeks of December, or clogging up your holidays with activities as there will still be practices during school holidays. Realised that after the exams there would be no time to mug? Haha so make full use of your time now and go study. SLs will call you before the start of the next practice, so please do not call any of the SLs nor the committee. Rest assured that you will be informed. Good luck for your exams.

The next practice will be held after the examinations, around the week of post-exam activities. Take this one month or so to revise your work and prepare for the final-year examinations. All the best for the exams!

The next practice will be on Saturday, 2 September. There will not be PT. Meet in the music room at 10am. We will be preparing for the performance to be held in the evening, so we will be dismissed at around 9pm. There will be a lunch break, and dinner will be provided. Wear your full school uniform as we are going to perform in that attire.

Details for the Taipai Male Choir Concert are as follows: Singapore Power Auditorium Friday, 25 August Meet at 7pm to collect the tickets first.
