Hello people! There will be an exam break from now till the end of mid year exams, so there will be no practices for about a few weeks or so. Your SLs will call you when there is practice. So, have a good break and happy mugging!

Hello to all! Since SYF is over, this is a gentle reminder that all choir practices are now COMPULSORY for all choir members. Anyway, next practice for all of you will be on 23 April 2009, Thursday. Be outside the music room by 2.15pm sharp. Latecomers are not tolerated. Please bring your penguin suits as there will be CCA phototaking. Failure to do so will result in your absence in the photo. See you on Thursday!

Congrats people once again, you have been part of the legacy that sets a target for the next batch of SYF people! Placing these achievements aside, the next practice/meeting for you guys will be tomorrow, 18 April 2009. There will be PT, so be outside the PE Dept by 7.30am sharp. Bring along your vests and ties if possible. Please remember your own vest and tie number to simplify logistical issues. Keep your vests and ties, for they will be required for CCA phototaking next week on 23 April. More details will be posted soon . Anyway, congratulations once again, and let's continue to do VS proud!

Hi people, It's 1 day to SYF!!! Please do rest your voices well and have an early night tonight!!! Sleep is essential for good voice production!!! Also, warm up well tomorrow and come to school fresh and awake!!! Meet in the music room at 7.55am tomorrow morning and remember to focus and dream about the songs tonight and tomorrow!!! PLEASE remember to bring your penguin suit and your socks and shoes. You can come in PE attire tomorrow morning

Next practice for SYF team only will be on 14 April 2009, Tuesday. Be outside the room at Siglap South CC by 2.50pm sharp . This is the last practice with Mr Kwei before SYF, so please do your best. There may be sectionals tomorrow for certain sections. Your individual sectional leaders will inform you of the time if your section has sectionals tomorrow. See you on Tuesday. 13/4 UPDATE: Please take note that the place for practice has been changed to SSCC. Be there by 2.50pm sharp, as there is no change in timing.

Next practice for SYF team only will be tomorrow, 12 April 2009. Be at the foyer by 2pm sharp. To those who are commemorating Easter, please bring/wear your school-based attire to school tomorrow after church. It is only 5 days left to SYF. Rest your voices ppl.

Hello to all! Next practice/workshop will be on 11 April 2009, Saturday. Be outside the music room by 9am sharp IN YOUR SCHOOL UNIFORM. Latecomers are not tolerated. Hello! Next practice for you guys will be tomorrow, 7 April 2009. Be outside the music room by 6.30am and be there at latest 6.45am sharp. You will be skipping morning assembly. Morning practice should end by 8am. This is also a reminder to those who forgot to bring their penguin suit or parts of their penguin suit today. Please bring them on Thursday. Also, to those who have not brought $21 for the VJC Concert, please do so by next practice. The food ban has also been initiated. All choir members are to ABSTAIN from these foods at all times: Deep-fried food Spicy food Oily food Nuts (cashews, peanuts, pistachios, etc.) These foods are also not to be consumed before practice: Sweetened drinks Dairy products Citrus fruits Any other things that harm your throat in one way or another Please use your common sense and make an effort to protect your own voice and health. Failure to do so will result in punishment. Also, to those who have not returned your vests, you ARE REQUIRED TO RETURN THEM BY TUESDAY or you will not be able to perform for SYF. Lastly, to non-SYF people, you are only reuired to attend Thursday and Saturday practices unless otherwise stated. See you on Tuesday!

Hi people, next practice for all is tomorrow, (FRIDAY), 3rd april 2009. Pls be outside music room by 2pm. Muslim guys are allowed to come later if your prayers hit into prac a bit. We seek your cooperation as we inch closer and closer to syf. Practice tomorrow will not be very long... Also, take note that costume check will be conducted on next tue so pls get ur penguin suits ready. For the benefit of sec 1s, the thingsyou will have to bring is: 1. Long sleeve white business shirt 2. Long black working pant. Not jeans!!! Or some other funny colour like dark blue... 3. Black leather shoes 4. black socks Seniors, also check your penguin suits to make sure you can still fit into it. LOL. And make sure your leather shoes don't split!!!
