An early Merry Christmas to all! Sorry to cut into your rather short break, but this is an announcement to inform all current Sec 2s and 3s (next year Sec 3s and 4s) to be at the music room at 8am sharp on 30 December 2008 to perform the national anthem and school anthem for your juniors during Sec 1 orientation. Be dressed in your full school uniform (w/o tie), which means white shirt and WHITE LONG PANTS (even for this year Sec 2s). 2008 Sec 1s are NOT required to attend. Enjoy the rest of your break.

Hi guys, there will be a short (so sorry) December holiday break for everyone so do make use of this time to finish mugging your holiday assignments and whatsoever. Hello guys. Just to inform you that the 21st Nov concert has now been made COMPULSORY as many good choirs such as the Vocal Consort are performing for that concert. Please do take note of this change. Alternatively, you may choose to go for the TKSS Concert. If you have already gone for that concert, it is not compulsory for you to attend the 21st Nov concert, although it is still strongly recommended. Please also do take note that the Cbox, as Jonathan has mentioned before, is not to be used for any personal discussion and MUST not be abused or misused. I have seen a lot of irrelevant tags on the Cbox. This is NOT ALLOWED . Enjoy your holidays, and see you at practice tomorrow!

Meet Aaron and the others at Clementi MRT station's control station (after you tap out) by 6.30pm. 2. Go to Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music Concert Hall at NUS yourself and meet by 6.45pm. Hi people, If you are still unaware, Victoria Chorale will be having their concert this Sunday 24th Aug at 7.30 at Yong Siew Toh Conservatory (NUS). Tickets are sold at $20. All are encouraged to go as Victoria Chorale is capable of making great music. Furthermore, everyone is required to go for at least 4 concerts a year. All those who are interested, please bring your $20 tomorrow.

Hello people! There would be a study break from this week onwards in preparation for your CA2 exam. Study hard guys, and do well for your studies! Anyway, so there would be no practice on Saturday in conjunction with National Day holiday. So next practice for all would tentatively be on 16 August 2008, Saturday. There would be PT, so be at the PE Dept in your PE attire by 7.30 pm am. As usual, latecomers are nopt tolerated. Also, since there is the building of the indoor sports hall, no basketball is available, so you are restricted to soccer and badminton. If you are playing the latter, bring your own equpment. Hello all! Welcome back to Term 3! Hope that you guys had had a good break and hoped that all of you have finished your holiday homework (:P). Anyway, regular choir practices would resume this week, although Tuesday practs are unconfirmed. So, the next choir practice for everyone would be this Thursday, 26 June 2008, at 2.15pm SHARP . Even though this is normal practice, there would be no tolerance for latecomers and absence without valid reasons. We might be learning a new song . On a lighter note, I would see you guys on Thursday at 2.15pm!

Yo people we are back again! We have performed extremely well for our Festival of Songs in Olomouc, but let us not rest on our laurels and let us work towards greater heights. There would be ISG this Saturday on 14 June 2008 for all Sec 1-4 choir members. The ISG is compulsory unless you have valid medical or non-medical reasons. Please be reminded to bring your own equipment for games. Be at the PE Dept at 8 am sharp. Although this is only ISG, latecomers are not tolerated. Hi FoSO people, we are departing for the airport in 1 day time!!! Amazing!!! Off from that, you guys must meet at Changi Airport Terminal 1 before 10pm (reminder:Make it a point to arrive 10 mins before stipulated time) on Sunday 1 June 2008. Don't be late, unless you want to miss your flight. Apart from that, please remember to bring all your stuff that is stated in the packing tips plus anything else you need. For those who have not passed up your passports, please REMEMBER to bring them. For those who have not received the binded hand book or/and have not had the briefing by Mr Ikhwan , please meet him at the airport at about 9.30pm. Finally, please arrange in your groups for someone to bring an iron to iron your performance suits as the hotel will not have enough to cater to all the choirs there. Also, please be reminded that if you have any items which are imitation, meaning having a particular brand name but not the real original product, please do not bring them as you

Yo FM (Festival Musicala) people! There will be practice on Wednesday at SSCC (1pm). Please be there punctually as you guys have gone to SSCC before and should know how to get there, excuses will not be tolerated. Another reminder that there are only 6 days till we are flying off and therefore every practice is IMPORTANT. Please try to skip lessons to make it for choir practices as each practice is extremely crucial . Please take good care of your voices and abstain from all types of food that will affect the quality of your voice. Also do not shout and raise your voice unnecessarily. And please inform Ryan Tay if you cannot fit into your current vest if you have not done so. Work hard in continuing to give your 100% effort and focus during each practice! =)

Hello FoSO people! Next practice for you guys would be on 26 May, Monday. Be outside the music room at 1pm. This is also a gentle reminder that you should really get your passports handed in by Monday as we only have very little time left for admin matters. (unless you don't want to go for the trip you paid for, which I don't think any of you wants. :P) Please also remember to stay focused and revise your dynamics for songs and choreo. Also, within this 2 weeks, NO: - Chocolates (regardless of brand :P) - Dairy products (yogurt, cheese, milk, soya bean milk, etc.) - Fried stuff (includes snacks that you find in the school canteen.) - Spicy stuff (includes things like curry, chilli crab, etc. ) - Citrus fruits/ fruit juices are allowed for consumption. Please bring along your top half of penguin suit (white sleeve shirt, vest and yellow tie) and your decorated masks . There will be a costume check. Please also bring along to bedsheets/towels for the choreography practice. Those holding ticket booklets , are also to bring them and the money too, for us to collate ticket sales so far. The 34 people watching AHS Choir concert , it will be on the evening of 5th April (Saturday). Please meet at Singapore Conference Hall at 7pm sharp. Also please take good note that if you do choreography poorly, or do not attend practice without a very valid reason, you are in great danger of not being allowed to perform for Rhapsody.

LESS THAN 9 DAYS TO RHAPSODY!! The next practice will be on this coming Thursday @ 2.15pm. ATTENDANCE FROM NOW ON IS REALLY CRUCIAL MAKE SURE YOU TURN UP FOR PRACTICES. Also do practice your choreography at home. If I see anyone clueless about their choreo on Thursday, I will not hesitate to REWARD punishments.
