Victoria School Choir

Hi people, Next pratice will be on Tuesday for EVERYONE. Practice will be held in school so make your way to the music room by 2.40 sharp. All those who have valid reasons (e.g. School lessons only) please submit a letter to Eric on Thursday. Work hard... 6 weeks to syf and counting...

ALL choir members, including sec 1s, please meet at the parade square after morning assembly on this Thursday, 26 Feb for a VERY important meeting. Details regarding where to meet exactly (since the parade square is sooo big...) will be made during morning announcements so listen up for the announcement. Thanks and good luck for your CA. (and wait for the good news)

Yo people! Next practice for all will be on 28th February 2009, which is the coming Saturday at 8.30am. Be outside the music room by 8.30am. Do not be late. We'll be having warm-up in school and sectionals before we head over to Siglap South Community Center at around 9.45am. The sec1s will be led there by the seniors. It's just a short walk from VS, so don't worry. Anyway, congratulations to those who passed today's auditions, but please do remember that poor attendance would mean that you'll be removed from the SYF team. Those who did not pass auditions are still REQUIRED to attend every single practice or your attendance will be marked 0. There is still one last audition next Saturday for the Sec1s and those seniors haven't had their 2nd round. All the best to you guys! Don't be disappointed if you aren't selected for SYF, cause there'll also be performances and other overseas competitions that'll earn you CCA points as well, don't give up

Sorry for the extremely late update people! I suppose all of you know next practice's date by now. Anyway, still, next practice for all of you will be tomorrow, 21 February 2009. Be outside the music room by 9.30am sharp. Latecomers are not tolerated. It will also be the last auditions for the seniors and the only audition for the Sec 1s. Please remember to bring your file, bottle and writing material. Wear your choir badge if you are wearing school uniform. This is a repeat of Aaron's announcement on Thursday. There is a NTU Choir Concert on 7 March 2009, Saturday, 7.15 pm. Ticket price is at $15. You need 4 concerts per year to get your CCA points, so if you are interested, approach the comm. Hello people. Next practice for all will be on 19 February 2009, Thursday. Be outside the music room by 2.15pm sharp. Those from 1H and 3D are allowed to come slightly later as usual. To those who will be auditioned on Thursday, good luck and practice hard during the weekend! Bring your vest and tie on Thursday as well if you have not done so. Enjoy your weekend.

Next practice for all will be on 14 February 2009, Saturday. There will be PT, so be outside the PE Dept (at the area near the pull-up bars) by 7.30am sharp with your PE Kit and own equipment if you are playing badminton. You are also reminded to bring along a set of change. As usual, latecomers are not tolerated. Also, for the Sec 2s to 4s, you are reminded to bring your vests AND ties by Saturday for stocktaking. We will not hesitate to pinpoint and punish those who do not bring their vests and ties on Saturday. See you on Saturday.
