Dearest Choir,
Time flies. Really.
I can still vividly remember last year this day, I'm sure the rest of the committee does too. Just a year a go, we received our committee badge. We began our journey, started serving the choir as committee members.
It wasn't an easy start. It wasn't easy to get things in place, to get things organized.
But as time goes on, we get up. We learn. We adapt.
And we work better as a team.
From the not-so-impressive performances in Speech Day, MOE Headquarters for Teacher's Day and ASEAN Youth Convention, we strived to improve ourselves as a choir. We worked as a team, eventually tasting the sweetness of success on 25 April 2010, Rhapsody IX. (:These memories are too fond--they still seem so new.
But before we know it, it's time for the Sec 4s to leave.
Whether we want it or not, whether we like it or not,
It's time to say goodbye.
But a goodbye doesn't have to be forever. We will be back, once in a while, to this big Family that has watched us grown. (:
Thanks for being part of this big family. Thanks for making our time in VS, in Choir a much meaningful one. (:
Always remember to sing with passion. Because singing without passion is pointless.
And I have faith in you, Choir. All of us do. (:
This shall be my last post here......
"Keep running, Choir, there's something ahead. Waiting."
Always proud to be your Chairman,
Lee Jia Lok
Chairman, 2009 June 6-2010 June 19
