Hello peeps :D Next prac for YOG people is on Wednesday. You are allowed to leave your classroom at 12noon and have your lunch. Meet outside the music room at 1pm. the attire will be confirmed at a later date. :)

Hi guys. Tomorrow, we are allowed to reach school for lessons AFTER RECESS. (i.e if your recess ends at 11.20 then be in school by 11.20). If you took a taxi home you can keep the receipt and claim money from Ms Ding. Thanks.

EDIT: Bring extra bag to place your valuables and pe shirts in(one for wet weather one to wear). you will be leaving your bags in the music room and return to get your bags after the prac ends. Hi guys. Next rehearsal for YOG people will be on wednesday. Please meet at the foyer at 3.15pm. The dismissal will be around 8pm in school. Remember to bring everything that is required for YOG. You do not need to wear your costume/ shoe yet, so please keep them properly. For those who want to stay in the hostel on wednesday night, please inform your SLs ASAP. Please also remember that if you are staying in the hostel, you will need to bring two days worth of books on wednesday. (for lessons on wednesday + thursday). On thursday, you are allowed to come to school AFTER recess. You also have a choice of coming to school the normal time. Hey guys, my first post on the choir blog. Firstly, I would like to sum up our experience during the taiwan trip. I believed that everyone should know the results by now, that we have gotten gold for mixed choir (youth) category and a silver for the mixed choir (open) category. Well, we have done our best so do not be disappointed and learn from this experience. To the secondary one choir members, this is your first competition with VS choir and I hope that it had been good experience. However, there is one thing which we could not emphasise more. Discipline. There are still much more room for improvement in terms of discipline and it should start from every single choir member. 休息是为了走更长远的路。As for the rest of the choir members, take it as a break, charge yourselves up and get ready to work for our next targets. ok this is tomorrow's plan in DETAIL. for people involved in YOG: Meet at the foyer at 2pm on 17 july 2010. Estimated ending is 12.25am on 18 july 2010 in school. Wear a comfortable pair of walking shoes and bring an extra pair, in case your first pair gets wet on floating platform. no slippers/sandals. shoes are to protect you from getting electrocuted via your feet, in case there are any loose electric cables in the water. Wear VS socks. Bring your water bottle. Bring a towel. OK this is what you've been waiting for: Wear red and/or white shirt and pants. alternatively, you could wear vs pe attire. Hello choir! We are back from taiwan. some of you may have achieved what you aimed for. some of you may not. however, double category winner + grand finalists AND having the 2nd highest score of the whole competition is a feat that can only be achieved only by every single one in vschoir giving their 101% best, considering that we are competing against people older than us. also, we didnt have any sec4s. (except jia lok) please remember that taiwan is not the end, there are still many more things to look forward to like YOG. always have the mentality that we work hard for our choir and our school. don't rest on your laurels, but instead aim for greater heights.

Hey VS Choir :) We've come a long way since we started practicing for our Taiwan trip... I just want to thank all of you for being cooperative with us through this past month. Through the ups and downs, together, VS Choir, we have made it all the way here. As the final stretch of this road ends, take care of yourselves, your fellow choir mates, and let's give our best shot! VS Choir, it's not about what result we get. HELLO GUYS!! ITS D DAY TOMORROW. WE'RE FLYING OFF! Meet at changi airport terminal 1 @ 7.45AM, row 12. we DO NOT have to go to school! Please try to be early.. the attire is PE t-shirt and long pants(jeans etc.) remember to bring your luggage and yourself :P Reminder that FOR HAND CARRY:liquids(your medication etc) have to be 100ml or less and to be kept in clear ziplock bags. Gatsby gel etc have to be 80g or less. NO SHARP OBJECTS INCLUDING NAILCLIPPERS! Hi guys. Next prac will be on thursday, at 2.15pm. meet outside the music room. Mr Foong will be coming. This will be the LAST prac before we fly. You don't have to bring a kettle anymore, but (i think) you still have to bring an iron. (at least 1 in every group.) YOU MUST know all your parts by now. we are only 3 days away from flying. remember all the DETAILS of every song; try to recall the different types of technique you have to use at different parts of the songs. 3 MORE DAYS TO TAIWAN! enjoy what you are singing. what is the point of singing if you are not enjoying it? :)
