The next choir practice for everyone will be this Saturday, 1st December. There will be PT (play time!!!), so assemble outside the PE Dept at 7.30am sharp. Practice may end slightly later than usual for a Saturday practice, but it will also mean no practice next Tuesday IF you guys perform well. =) And those of you still unconfirmed on the choir camp and Festa Musicale: Olomouc, please get your parents' consent ASAP, we will need to tabulate the numbers on Saturday.

There will be practice this Thursday, 22 November. It is a level-by-level practice, so you will be having practice only with people from the same level as you. This is so for us to go from the full choir to a macro choir so we can work on individual people to help improve your singing. Details for the various levels will be as follows: Secondary Ones (this year) - begin at 9am Secondary Twos (this year) - begin at 11.30am Secondary Threes (this year) - begin at 2pm Each session should last about 2 hours, inclusive of the time for clearing admin stuff. Also, those of you that have your vest and tie with you, please bring it on Thursday's practice as well. See you on Thursday's practice! =)
SCREAMOUT: Have a Friendster account? Join us now at VSchoir's Friendster Group ! (it has been stagnant for the past 9 months!) The next practice for everyone will be this coming Tuesday, 20th November. We will be starting at 9am. Do take note that we are moving into a phase of preparation for next year's Rhapsody VIII. Even though it may only be on April (about 4 months from now), we need to keep pace as 4 months will be difficult to perfect almost 20 songs. We have more or less the scores for about half of them, and we have yet to start on many songs. Do make the effort to come for practices as it would be troublesome to restart for the sake of teaching those that did not learn a particular song, due to severe time constraints. Have a great weekend ahead!
The next practice for the WHOLE choir will be on Saturday , 17 November 2007. There will be NO PT. Please be punctual and be outside the music room by 9am . Also, remember to bring the $15 for the Mr Kwei's memorial concert for his late teacher. If you did not come for the last practice, please place your orders on Saturday. We might be giving out the choir photos to those who ordered it on Saturday too.

Dear Choir, The next practice will be on Thursday, 15 November 2007, at 9am. Please be punctual and meet outside the Music Room for the whole choir. Mr Aw Yong will be confirming whether there are any Secondary One members who are quitting Choir as a CCA on that day. Also, we will arrange for Mr Kwei to come over on that day in the afternoon because he isn't free in the morning, which means that you will be given a lunch break before he arrives. We will be finding out the number of people who cannot make it for Mr Kwei's concert on 28 November and give him the final number of tickets we need to order. And lastly, we might be giving out the Choir photos to those who ordered on Thursday too. Thank you.

Don't let this affect your studies. Come back during the Pattaya trip with a greater award! We will all be looking forward to that. Sherman Student Conductor

Next practice for all sec 1s to 3s will be on Monday (12 Feb) at 2.45pm. Meet in the music room. Sec 1s to 3s please make your Monday (12 Feb) and Wednesday (14 Feb) afternoons free because there is a rehearsal on each of these 2 days. Next practice for all members will be on Thursday at 2.15pm. Please take note that ALL members (SYF and non-SYF) are to attend ALL practices unless told otherwise. This is because all members are competing in A Voyage of Songs in Pattaya in July, and Noyosa and Credo will be used for the competition, so there is a need to learn the songs as well. On the other hand, there may be changes involving the SYF team (eg: some get kicked out because of poor attendance) so there is still a chance for those in non-SYF group to be in the SYF group. SYF is in 11 weeks' time, and A Voyage of Songs is in 5 and a half months' time.
