[Notes for 7-7-07 workshop in VJC]

Ondeh Ondeh:

-Will be slower a little bit to make La yang la yang parts more comfortable
-Clearer timing
-Better diction
-Sopranoes tone down
-Sopranoes lighter sound(dark from 2nd page 4th bar all the way)
-Altos come out more

-Tenors flat for Ah part
-Altos and Basses louder for Ah part

-Basses not too fierce at solo part
-Altos and Sopranoes don't come in too fiercely either at Bass solo

Pok Pok Alimpako:

-Altos abit louder for beginning entry
-Altos, Tenors and Basses beginning don't push too hard because pitch flies every crescendo
-Sopranoes first entry sharp

-2nd page 2nd system dung nung dung nung part sharp

-I ya I ya part too constricted feeling

-Altos sharp for Dung nung entries at pages 4 and 8
-Soprano 1s sharp for A a i part
-Soprano 2s come out more for both A a i parts

-Sopranoes wrong rhythm and sharp for ma la la part(lala lala lala instead of just la la la)
-Tenors come out more for Ma la la part
-Altos don't decrescendo the ma la la part until no sound
-Basses rushing at Ma la la part
-Before Bu kas ka sa i sa ma la la part the Ma la las must be heard

-Altos don't go sharp at unison Pum pum part
-Soprano 1s Pum pum part same timing as Alto 2s, wrong!

-Not enough crescendo at A a i before "As fast as possible"
-Not enough build up before laughter
-Contrast from pg 8 to pg 10 not distinct
-Pitching for pg 9 and 10 not good

Take note of these many mistakes and work on it. Seriously. Otherwise I'll have nothing to say to you guys if you do not want to work for success.
